Mr. LaPorte has over 15 years of experience in influential roles in the IT and Security fields. He began his technical career in the U.S. Army overseas, where he worked on crisis communications and systems administration. He then moved into management positions across high-profile companies like Dell SecureWorks, IBM, and Acquia before his successful career at Gartner, Inc. as a Senior Director Analyst. Mr. LaPorte now extends his wealth and depth of knowledge to advising cybersecurity start-ups with High Tide Advisors, and now with Lionfish Tech Advisors.
