WILMINGTON, DE. July 6, 2022. -- Lionfish TechAdvisors, a global analyst advisory firm, is pleased to announce the appointment of Leif-Olof Wallin, former Research Vice President at Gartner, Inc. and long-time veteran technology analyst to the advisory team. In his new role as advisor, Mr. Wallin will provide strategic advice, product positioning and messaging services for technology vendors around the world.

Mr. Wallin has over 41 years ofIT experience whereof 21 years from advising clients and analyzing industry trends with META Group and Gartner, Inc. Before joining META Group in 2001, Mr. Wallin held numerous different positions on the R&D side, the last one being CTO, of publicly traded supply chain execution company, Industri-Matematik International.
Throughout his career, Mr. Wallin covered supply chain, frontline working, enterprise mobility, IoT connectivity and private mobile networks. He was responsible for the creation of leading market research and end-user best practices around mobile device management, BYOD and frontline
working. Mr. Wallin will help IT companies with the big strategic decisions and vital tactical moves to position their products and companies for success.
At Gartner, Mr. Wallin served as vendor lead analyst for a number of global mega vendors like AT&T, Vodafone, Ericsson and Nokia. In addition, Mr. Wallin coached large numbers of startups, small and medium size vendors with successful results.
