Lionfish Tech Advisors welcomes Neil Rickard
WILMINGTON, DE. February 2, 2023. -- Lionfish Tech Advisors, a global advisory firm, is pleased to announce the appointment of Neil Rickard, former Research Vice President at Gartner, Inc. and long-time veteran technology analyst to the advisory team. Mr. Rickard will provide strategic advice, product positioning and messaging services for technology vendors around the world.

Mr. Rickard has over 40 years of experience in the enterprise networking industry, including 24 years at Gartner. Prior to joining Gartner, he held technical and marketing roles with Cisco Systems, StrataCom, Nortel, Timeplex and Marconi.
He has worked with network service providers and network equipment manufacturers, from the largest multinationals to small start-ups, helping them develop their corporate strategies, portfolios, go to market and messaging.
At Gartner, he authored several hundred Gartner reports on enterprise networking, including multiple Magic Quadrants, vendor ratings, cool vendors, hype cycles and RFP templates. He also served as Gartner’s vendor lead analysts for large vendors such as BT, coordinating Gartner’s overall research relationships and positioning with these vendors.
He has spoken at numerous public events such as RSA, as well as Gartner conferences and symposia, including delivering keynote presentations. He has also chaired Gartner’s Infrastructure, Operations and Cloud Strategies conference.
